Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide: a dispersion liquid having excellent storage stability; and a composition which contains the same and from which a cured film having excellent surface unevenness can be produced. In addition, the objective of the present invention is also to provide a cured film obtained by using the composition, a color filter, an optical element, a solid-state imaging element, and a headlight unit. The dispersion liquid contains: modified silica particles obtainable by reacting silica particles surface-treated with compound A represented by formula Si(RA)4-n(XA)n having a reactive group, and compound B having a functional group and an organic group that react with a reactive group to form a bond; an organic solvent; and water, wherein the water content is 0.1-20.0 mass% with respect to the total mass of the modified silica particles. In formula A, RA represents a monovalent organic group including a reactive group, XA represents a hydroxyl group or a monovalent hydrolyzable group, and n represents an integer of 1-3.
