Abstract:
A compact detecting device capable of detecting a rotation angle and a linear movement distance or both their operation speeds. The detecting device for detecting the rotation angle and the linear movement distance of a movable member that rotates and linearly moves or its rotation angle speed and linear movement speed, wherein the movable member (30) comprises a first movable part (45) for linearly moving together with the movable member (30) as it linearly moves as above, a second movable part (34) for holding the first movable part (45) to rotate freely and rotating together with the movable member (30) as the above movable member (30) rotates, a first sensor (47) for outputting a signal according to the linear movement of the first movable part (45) when it linearly moves, and a second sensor (39) for outputting a signal according to the rotation of the second movable part (34) when it rotates.
