Abstract:
The present invention relates to a displacement measurement device using a fiber Bragg grating sensor and a method for adjusting the sensitivity and durability thereof, the displacement measurement device comprising: a case forming an exterior; a third and a fourth optical fiber spaced from each other by a preconfigured distance in the case and installed to have a different numbers of strands; and a connection means installed between the third and the fourth optical fiber and fixed at a predetermined position by tensile force applied to the third and the fourth optical fiber. Therefore, when the device is applied to a deformation rate sensor using a fiber Bragg grating sensor, the fiber Bragg grating sensor is selectively installed at one of a pair of optical fibers installed to have a different number of strands, thereby obtaining the effect of adjusting the measurement sensitivity and durability of the deformation rate sensor.
