Abstract:
Disclosed is a display apparatus (10), which is provided with a display unit (25) for displaying video and that is manipulated by a manipulation terminal, and which is also provided with an execution unit (12) for executing functions of the aforementioned display apparatus (10), and a remote-controller-light reception unit (20) for receiving signals transmitted from the manipulation terminal, including identification information for identifying the user using the manipulation terminal. Since the execution unit (12) obtains identification information, and setting information corresponding to identification information received by the remote-controller-light reception unit (20), from among a plurality of corresponding information recorded in a recording unit (22), which records information corresponding to setting information used when the execution unit (12) executes functions, and executes the function using the obtained setting information, settings can easily be switched to settings suited for the user using the display apparatus (10).

Claims:
