Abstract:
A display apparatus, a drive method for the display apparatus, and a display system. The display apparatus comprises a display panel (10), a polarising plate (11) positioned on the emergent light face side of the display panel (10) and a phase retarder plate (12) positioned on the emergent light face side of the polarising plate (11). A display region of the display panel (10) comprises an anti-peeping region (A) and a compensation region (B); the phase retarder plate (12) comprises: a first phase retarder plate (121) corresponding to the anti-peeping region (A) and a second phase retarder plate (122) corresponding to the compensation region (B); the first phase retarder plate (121) and the second phase retarder plate (122) are both quarter-wave phase retarder plates; when in operation, the first phase retarder plate (121) and the second phase retarder plate (122) are configured to respectively convert the light rays incident to the first phase retarder plate (121) and the light rays incident to the second phase retarder plate (122) into polarised light with opposite directions of rotation. The display apparatus is used with an anti-peeping mirror (14) to implement an anti-peeping function.
