Abstract:
A display apparatus driving method and a display apparatus. The driving method comprises: setting average values of first, second, and third components of a first frame of a display image to be equal to a second average value, and setting average values of first and third components of a second frame display image to be equal to a third average value, and setting an average value of a second component thereof to be equal to a set average value; adjusting the brightness of a backlight module according to average values of the first, second, and third components of an original display image and of the first frame and second frame of the display image; acquiring, according to the brightness of the backlight module, the components of a pixel in the original display image, and a driving component of the pixel in the first frame of the display image, a driving component of the pixel in the second frame of the display image; and according to the driving component corresponding to the second frame of the display image, determining whether to drive a display apparatus for displaying according to the component corresponding to the original display image or according to the driving components corresponding to the first frame and second frame of the display image. The display apparatus driving method and the display apparatus improve the problem of color shift in a display panel under a large viewing angle.
