Abstract:
Provided is a display apparatus comprising: a display panel (11) including red pixels, green pixels, and blue pixels; a storage unit (17) storing a gamma table (42) for correcting blue luminance; and a control circuit (16) that receives gradation data of the blue pixels from outside, uses the gamma table (42) to perform gamma correction of the gradation data, and uses the gradation data subjected to the gamma correction to display an image on the display panel (11). The gamma table (42) includes first and second tables (43) each representing correspondence between a plurality of gradations and a plurality of driving voltages regarding the blue pixels. The first table (43) stores information of the driving voltage based on a first gamma feature. The second table (43) stores information of the driving voltage based on a second gamma feature having smaller blue luminance than that of the first gamma feature. The control circuit (16) selects one of the first and second tables (43), and uses the selected table to determine the driving voltage of the blue pixels.
