Abstract:
A display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: thin-plate-like display cells that display a video image; M vibrators that are disposed on the back-surface side of the display cells and that cause the display cells to vibrate; and a driving unit that drives the display cells and the M vibrators. The driving unit generates M types of first audio signals on the basis of audio signals obtained from external signals. On the basis of K types of first audio signals in M-O groups in which combinations differ from each other (where 2 ≤ K < M and 1 ≤ O < M–1) and that are selected from the M types of first audio signals, the driving unit additionally generates a second audio signal for each group. The driving unit additionally supplies, to the M vibrators, the M–O types of second audio signals and a third audio signal that is one type among the M types of first audio signals.
