Abstract:
Provided are: a display apparatus, which is capable of eliminating generation of a dark part, capable of having a light source unit manufactured in a short time, and capable of reducing manufacture cost; and a television receiver that is provided with the display apparatus.
This display apparatus has a configuration wherein a light source unit (40) is manufactured in a short time by mounting female connectors (43) on a substrate (41) with light emitting diodes (42), the female connectors (43) are mounted on one surface of the substrate (41) by having the female connectors out of the rows of the light emitting diodes (42), light is outputted from the light source unit (40) with a substantially uniform light quantity, and a dark part is prevented from being generated in a display panel (10).
