A display apparatus and a display terminal, comprising a display panel (10) and a lamp source (20), the display panel (10) comprising an array substrate (11), a colour film substrate (12), and a display medium (13) packaged between the array substrate (11) and the colour film substrate (12), the display medium (13) comprising liquid crystal molecules (131) and dichroic dye molecules (132), the array substrate (11) comprising a glass substrate (111), the glass substrate (111) being positioned on the side of the array substrate (11) facing away from the display medium (13), the glass substrate (111) being provided with an incident light face (112), and the lamp source (20) and the incident light face (112) of the glass substrate (111) being arranged opposite to each other.
