Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display control apparatus and a display control method that enable improved visibility of information. This display control apparatus comprises: a camera image acquisition section that acquires a camera image which is an image captured by a camera; a combining section that combines a predetermined icon image with one of a plurality of areas obtained by dividing the camera image acquired by the camera image acquisition section to generate a combined image; an index calculation section that calculates an index representing the ease of recognizing the icon image in the combined image generated by the combining section; and a display position determination section that determines the display position of the icon image on the basis of the index calculated by the index calculation section.
