Abstract:
HUD displays an object to be displayed overlapping with an actual landscape as a three-dimensional image or as a two-dimensional image. A display control apparatus according to the present invention acquires information concerning a moving object and peripheral information, estimates a relative distance between a display obstruction object and the moving body, and, in cases where it is determined there is a display obstruction object between the object to be displayed and the moving body or in cases where it is determined there is the possibility such a display obstruction object exists, changes a display manner of the object to be displayed and instructs the HUD in accordance with a change amount of the relative distance.
