Abstract:
The present invention smooths the transition of displaying images on the basis of a predicted position that is a predicted position of a real object, and quickly directs visual attention. A display control device is capable of executing a first position setting process for setting a position of an image 210 on the basis of the most recently acquired position of a real object 310, and a second position setting process for setting a position of an image 220 on the basis of a predicted position of the real object 310 in a display update cycle of the image 210 that is predicted on the basis of one or more previously acquired positions of the real object 310, including at least the most recently acquired position of the real object 310. The display control device executes the first position setting process in a first display update cycle Fα immediately after the acquisition of the position of the real object 310 existing in front of an own vehicle, and executes the second position setting process in a second display update cycle Fβ that is not immediately after the acquisition of the position of the real object 310 existing in front of the own vehicle.
