Abstract:
A display control device (1) is provided with: a priority adding unit (12) for adding priority to each of a plurality of display areas arrayed in shape of a lattice; a position information acquisition unit (13) for acquiring position information that indicates the position of each of one or more search objects present within a search range; a search object assignment unit (14) for assigning, in order of priority, one search object to each of the display areas in accordance with the positional relationship between the display areas and the search objects; and a display control unit (15) for generating, on the basis of the result of assignment by the search object assignment unit, an image for display in which first icon images corresponding to the search objects are arranged in the display areas and causing a window that includes the image for display to be displayed by a display device (4).
