This display control device is used in a vehicle, is for controlling content superposition displaying on a head-up display (20), and is provided with: a point determination unit (106) that determines whether there is a point of caution ahead of the vehicle in the advancing direction; a field angle determination unit (108) that determines whether the point of caution is within the field angle of the head-up display; and a display control unit (109) that causes, when the point determination unit has determined that the point of caution is present, display of warning content for presenting, to an occupant, the presence of the point of caution. The display control unit causes display of the warning content as superposition content indicating that the point of caution is to be superposed when the field angle determination unit has determined that the point of caution is within the field angle, and causes display of the warning content as non-superposition content in which content to be superposed is not identified when the point of caution has been determined as being not within the field angle.
