Abstract:
A travel direction acquisition unit (12) acquires change information related to the travel direction of a vehicle, said travel direction being output by a travel direction detection unit (2). A video synthesis unit (13) synthesizes video showing an area forward of the vehicle, and video showing an area rearward in the direction of a change destination indicated by the change information, i.e., an area to the rear at the right side or an area to the rear at the left side of the vehicle. A display control unit (14) outputs, to a projection unit (3), a control signal for causing the video synthesized by the video synthesis unit (13) to be projected forward in the direction of the change destination indicated by the change information, i.e., forward and to the right or forward and to the left of a driver.
