Abstract:

The display control device is provided with: a video data acquisition unit (120) for acquiring video data from a camera shooting in the traveling direction of a vehicle; a parking line recognition unit (130) for recognizing parking lines, that is, lines of a parking space, from the video data; a center line generation unit (140) for generating a center line of the parking space from the recognized parking lines; a vehicle traveling line generation unit (110) for generating a vehicle traveling line extending in the traveling direction of the vehicle, with a center part in the width direction of the vehicle as a starting point; a superimposed image generation unit (150) for generating superimposed data representing the video data with the center line and the vehicle traveling line being superimposed thereon; and a display control unit (160) for transmitting the superimposed data to a display unit in order to display a video image pertaining to the superimposed data thereon.
