Abstract:

Even in situations in which the operating load is relatively large, this display control device for a vehicle displays information relating to the driving support control with better recognizability and in a manner not burdensome to the driver. On a liquid crystal display device (26) provided inside of a meter panel (21) of a meter device (20), a display controller (30) displays an image for displaying the support state, which is an image configured from a vehicle image placed over a mesh image, i.e., a planar image in the shape of a mesh. In addition, if it is determined that the driving support control performed by a driving support device (40) is in operation, display control is performed for changing to a preset display mode the display mode of the mesh image portion of the support state display image displayed on the liquid crystal display device (26).
