Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a display data processing method and a virtual reality device. The processing method comprises: a host divides a display area into a central area and an edge area according to a field angle of a head-mounted display; segment each display data frame into first display data corresponding to the central area and second display data corresponding to the edge area; process the first and second display data according to first and second transmission factors respectively, to obtain first and second transmission data and send same to the head-mounted display; the head-mounted display performs image reconstruction on the received first and second transmission data to obtain a display image corresponding to the display data frame, and displays and outputs the display image. The virtual reality device comprises the host and the head-mounted display. The present invention can reduce the occupation of transmission bandwidth, and does not need to compress or decompress the transmission data, thereby significantly reducing delay.
