Abstract:
A display device capable of recognizing a pattern, and a driving method. The display device comprises a plurality of pairs of first control signal lines (200) and second control signal lines (300). In a pattern recognition time interval, a second control signal is applied on one of the second control signal lines (300), wherein the second control signal has a same frequency as a first control signal on one of the first control signal lines (200), and is 180 degrees out of phase with the first control signal. Therefore, the second control signal can cancel out noises and interference produced by the first control signal on the first control signal line (200) and on a recognition output line (500), increasing a signal-to-noise ratio of an obtained pattern recognition signal, thereby increasing extraction precision and detection precision of the pattern recognition signal.
