Abstract:
A virtual image display device 100 is provided with a projector 2, a screen 3, a concave mirror 4, and a control unit 5. The control unit 5 acquires positional information related to the eye point of an observer. On the basis of the control of the control unit 5, the projector 2 displays an intermediate image on the screen 3 so as to irradiate light which allows the observer to view a virtual image IV on a windshield 6 in the same range on the concave mirror 4 regardless of the eye point of the observer. The control unit 5 changes the display position of the intermediate image displayed on the screen 3 on the basis of the positional information related to the eye point of the observer.
