Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device and a control method therefor, and to a technique, in a display device, capable of adjusting the curvature of a display panel, for preemptively preventing an accident, which can occur when adjusting the curvature, by sensing trapping and the like of a finger or an object. The present invention provides a display device comprising: a display panel having a changeable curvature; a fixing unit for fixing the display panel to a frame; a driving unit for changing the curvature of the display panel; a sensor unit comprising a plurality of sensors mounted in the display panel so as to measure the curvature of the display panel; and a control unit for controlling the driving unit so as to stop a curvature change of the display panel when there is a curvature value, having a different magnitude, among curvature values measured by the plurality of sensors.
