Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device excellent in downsizing, reduction in power consumption, or flexibility of the placement of a computing device. This display device has a pixel circuit, a driving circuit, and a functional circuit. The driving circuit has a function of outputting an image signal for performing display in the pixel circuit. The functional circuit has a CPU provided with a CPU core having a flip-flop electrically connected to a backup circuit. The display device has a first layer and a second layer. The first layer has the driving circuit and the CPU. The second layer has the pixel circuit and the backup circuit. The first layer has a semiconductor layer having silicon in a channel forming region. The second layer has a semiconductor layer having a metallic oxide in the channel forming region. The CPU has a function of correcting the image signal according to the amount of an electric current flowing through the pixel circuit.
