Description:
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING A PLURALITY OF PRODUCTS

Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to a display device, and particularly, to a display device which is easy to set up and store and convenient for displaying and removal of products by customers, and at the same time, has enhanced strength, can be used repeatedly and provides protection to the products from breaking. Background

Currently, in order to achieve the functions of display of products and convenient removal of products by customers, there are display devices in the market wherein products can be taken from a lower opening of a display device. However, in these designs, on the one hand, the lowermost one or more products are hard to be found or taken by a customer because they are apt to fall into the bottom of the display device. On the other hand, since the bottom frequently suffers from the falling impact of the products, the bottom is apt to be damaged, which leads to products dropping out of the display device, and is disadvantageous for repeated use. Moreover, products falling directly to the bottom of a display device may lead to the breaking of crispy products (e.g. biscuits, etc.), which may destroy the integrity of the products.

Therefore, a display device for displaying products needs to be provided, which is easy to set up and store, convenient for pre-filling and supplementary replenishment of products, and convenient for display and product removal by customers, and at the same time, has enhanced strength, can be used repeatedly and provides protection to products from breaking.

Summary

In order to solve the problems above, the present disclosure provides a display- device for distributing a plurality of products.

Specifically, the display device of the present disclosure comprises: a vertically i disposed columnar box body for storing and displaying the plurality of products. The columnar box body comprises: a box body top and a box body bottom; a box body right side wall and a box body left side wall, which are symmetrical to each other; and a box body back wall and a box body front wall, which are connected with the box body right side wall and the box body left side wall, wherein the box body back wall and the box body front wall are disposed oppositely, and wherein an openable portion used for at least one of the plurality of products is disposed on the box body front wall, to form an access opening. The openable portion is disposed at a location close to the box body bottom on the box body front wall, and a base strengthening module is disposed between a lower edge of the openable portion and the box body bottom.

Those skilled in the art can readily understand that the base strengthening module can be hollow or partly hollow and can have a bottom storage space used for storing articles (e.g. mountings, ropes and hooks, etc.).

In addition, the height of the lower edge of the access opening from the box body bottom can be determined according to the quantity and weight of the products. In a preferred embodiment, the height of the lower edge of the access opening from the box body bottom is larger than 1.5 centimeters to achieve an expected strength of the vertically disposed box body. The height of the lower edge of the access opening from the box body bottom can also be about 1/5 to 1/2 of the box body front width or the side width.

The height of the base strengthening module should be determined according to the height of the lower edge of the access opening from the box body bottom, while it is necessary to take into account the properties and visibility of the products. Specifically, if the products are apt to slip off, the lower edge of the access opening should be slightly higher than the base strengthening module to prevent the products from slipping off. If the products are relatively planar and hard to take out, the height of the base strengthening module and the height of the lower edge of the access opening from the box body bottom should be disposed at the same height, to make the platform of the base strengthening module be flush with the lower edge of the access opening, which is convenient for display and removal of products. In a preferred embodiment, the openable portion is defined by a line of weakening, so as to form the access opening. However, those skilled in the art can readily understand that the openable portion can also be defined by other well-known methods in the art,

In a preferred embodiment, the columnar box body further comprises a product storage tray disposed within the columnar box body, the product storage tray- comprising: a storage tray right side wall and a storage tray left side wall, which respectively correspond to the box body right side wall and the box body left side wall, and are symmetrical to each oilier; and a storage tray back wall corresponding to the box body back wal 1.

Those skilled in the art can readily understand that a back storage space can be further formed between the storage tray back wall and box body back wall, which is to store the mountings, for example, ropes or hooks, etc, for fixing the display device, that are needed at the time of using the display device.

In a preferred embodiment, the width of the storage tray back wall is slightly smaller than the width of the box body back wall, so that the product storage tray loaded with the plurality ' of products can be inserted into the columnar box body from the box body top.

In a preferred embodiment, when the product storage tray loaded with the plurality of products is inserted into the columnar box body from the box body top, at least one product of the plurality of the products is located in the access opening.

In a preferred embodiment, the base strengthening module is formed integrally with the columnar box body, so that when the product storage tray loaded with the plurality of products is inserted into the columnar box body from the box body top, at least the lowest one of the plurality of the products is located in the access opening.

In a preferred embodiment, the base strengthening module is formed integrally with the product storage tray and is located at the lower end of the product storage tray, so that when the product storage tray loaded with the plurality of products is inserted into the columnar box body from the box body top, at least the lowest one of the plurality of the products is located in the access opening. In a preferred embodiment, the columnar box body is one of the following shapes: a prism, a part of a prism, a cylinder, a part of a cylinder, an elliptic cylinder, and a part of an elliptic cylinder. Those skilled in the art can readily understand that the shape of the columnar box body can be changed according to such factors as product shape to be displayed, actual display space of shelf, etc.

in a preferred embodiment, the columnar box body is a quadrangular prism. In a preferred embodiment, the cross section of the quadrangular prism is a rectangle, wherein the box body right side wall and the box body left side wall are planar walls and parallel to each other, and the box body back wall and the box body front wall are planar walls and parallel to each other.

In a preferred embodiment, the storage tray right side wall, the storage tray left side wall and the storage tray back wall are respectively parallel to the box body right side wall, the box body left side wall and the box body back wall.

Those skilled in the art should be able to understand that other angle ranges are possible according to the nature of different products and circumstances of use.

In the foregoing preferred embodiments, the columnar box body is a quadrangular prism. However, those skilled in the art can readily understand that the columnar box body can also be one of the following shapes: a prism, a part of a prism, a cylinder, a part of a cylinder, an elliptic cylinder, and a part of an elliptic cylinder.

In the present disclosure, the access opening 175 can be so disposed that the upper edge 172 is curved and the lower edge 174 is in the shape of a straight line (as shown in Figure 1), a rectangle (as shown in Figure 6), or any other shape convenient for display and removal of products, which can be readily understood by those skilled in the art.

In the foregoing preferred embodiments, the openable portion is defined by a line of weakening. However, those skilled in the art can readily understand that, the openable portion can also be formed through other methods well known by those skilled in the art.

In the foregoing preferred embodiments, the base strengthening module is integrally formed with the product storage tray and located at the lower end of the product storage tray (as shown in Figure 4), or the base strengthening module is folded from a single piece of sheet material and is a box-like structure disposed at the lower end of the columnar box body (as shown in Figures 7-8). Those skilled in the art can readily understand that the base strengthening module can also be integrally formed with the columnar box body and located at the lower end of the columnar box body.

The formation material for the display device can be paperboard. Those skilled in the art should be able to understand that, according to the nature of different products and circumstances of use, plastic, metal and composite materials, etc., can also be employed, in whole or in part. It will also be understood that, according to the nature of different products and circumstances of use, the display device can be formed from transparent, non-transparent or partially-transparent materials. In addition, there can be also an outer packaging disposed outside the display device formed from such material as papei; plastic, thin film and so on.

One method of use of the display device of the present disclosure is described as follows:

A columnar box body is formed by folding a single piece of sheet material, and a product storage tray and a base strengthening module can be integrally formed by folding a single piece of sheet material. Required mountings can be put into a base storage space according to requirements. The product storage tray loaded with a plurality of products is inserted into the columnar box body from the box body top, and at least the lowest one of the pluralit 7 of the products is located in an access opening. The mountings (e.g. ropes or hooks, etc.) for fixing the storage device can be put into the back storage space according to requirements. The display device filled with products is folded into a storing state, as shown in Figure 1. During a period of storage and transport, the display device of the present disclosure is maintained in said storing state, as shown in Figure 1.

Display device 10 can be flexibly fixed at multiple locations of a shelf through use of the aperture 152 for fixation or hanging of the box body back wall to better display products. The said at least one of the aperture 152 for fixation or hanging can be formed by pre-forming a line of weakening on the box body back wall 150. Those skilled in the art can readily understand that the at least one aperture 152 for fixation or hanging can also be formed by other ways which are well known by those skilled in the art, and the present disclosure is not limited therein.

When it needs to be displayed, the top plate of the columnar box body will be opened to a vertical position and folded to be converted into a head card. At least one aperture for fixation and hanging can be formed through using the pre-formed line of weakening on the box body back wall, and the display device can be fixed at an expected location of a shelf by using the mountings (e.g. ropes or hooks) put in the back storage space, or by way of directly mounting the display device. At the same time, the openable portion on the box body front wall can be removed by using the pre-formed line of weakening, thereby forming an access opening. By this way, the product located at the lowermost location of the product storage tray can be conveniently taken from the access opening. When the lowermost product is taken away, the penultimate product in the product storage tray will naturally fall onto the base strengthening module, and will be located in the access opening, which is convenient to allow removal of the next product. Moreover, since the interior of the base strengthening module is the base storage space, it can provide a buffer effect for the falling products, thereby helping to avoid the breaking of crispy products (e.g. biscuits).

When it is observed from the observation slot that there are few remaining products in the columnar box body or that the columnar box body is empty, an employee can simply take the product storage tray out, supplement and fill it with products, and re-insert the product storage tray into the columnar box body. When products are supplemented and filled by using the product storage tray, the damage caused by excessive impact force on crispy products (e.g. biscuits, etc.) derived from the failing of products when directly putting products into the columnar box body can be avoided. Moreover, the products to be filled can be stacked up by using the product storage tray in advance, so that the products point at the access opening with a proper angle, thereby being convenient for removal by customers. In addition, folded wings on the back of the product storage tray can help the re-filled product storage tray be secured in the columnar box body, so as to ensure the effect of convenient removal by customers. At the same time, a check list and recording chart, etc., which may be required by employees, can be stored in the base storage space, for convenient use and to avoid misplacement of the check list and recording chart, thereby improving work efficiency.

Since the base strengthening module can efficiently enhance the strength of the box body bottom, which can relieve or resist the damage of the falling impact of products to the box body bottom during the process of continuous use, the display device can be repeatedly used many times, which reduces the cost of production.

The foregoing method of use of the display device is described referring to one preferred embodiment of the present disclosure. However, those skilled in the art can understand that, for other display devices falling into the scope of the present disclosure, for example, the above-mentioned display device wherein the base strengthening module and the columnar box body are integrally formed, or the display device wherein the base strengthening module is individually formed, one just needs to simply adjust or substitute some steps. Based on the above description, the method of use of all the display devices in the scope of the present disclosure can be readily understood by those skilled in the art. Therefore, they fall into the spirit and substantive scope of the present disclosure.

The display device is easy to set up and store and convenient for displaying and removal of products, and at the same time has enhanced strength, can be used repeatedly and can protect products from, breaking. In addition, the display device can further achieve convenient pre-filimg and supplementary filling of products, and can provide protection to products from breaking during replenishment.

Although exemplary embodiments and examples have been described in detail above, the embodiments and examples disclosed are exemplary only and are not limiting, and those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that many other modifications, changes, and/or substitutions are possible in the exemplary embodiments and examples without materially departing from the novel teachings and advantages of the present disclosure.
