Abstract:
This display device has pixel circuits that comprises a light-emitting element, a current modulation unit that controls the value of the current flowing in the light-emitting element, a current interruption unit that interrupts the current flowing in the light-emitting element, and a gradation control unit that performs gradation control by controlling the current modulation unit and the current interruption unit. The gradation modulation unit discretely controls the light-emission duty of the light-emitting element via the current interruption unit and controls the value of the current flowing in the light-emitting element in accordance with the light-emission duty of the light-emitting element via the current modulation unit.
