Abstract:
Provided is a novel display device in which a light emitting element is turned on by triangular waves. Also provided is a drive method for a display device having a first pixel, a second pixel, a first line, a second line, and a third line. The first line is electrically connected to the first pixel and the second pixel. The second line is electrically connected to the first pixel, and the third line is electrically connected to the second pixel. The first pixel receives first display data via the second line, and the second pixel receives second display data via the third line. The first pixel or the second pixel starts emitting light at a different timing. At a first timing, the first pixel reaches the maximum brightness corresponding to the first display data, and the second pixel reaches the maximum brightness corresponding to the second display data. As a result of receiving a reset signal through the first line, the first pixel and the second pixel are initialized at a second timing so as to turn off.
