A display device, and a driving method for a display panel (10). The method comprises: driving a first pixel unit (P1) by means of a first voltage signal, and driving a second pixel unit (P2) by means of a second voltage signal, wherein the first pixel unit (P1) and the second pixel unit (P2) are adjacent pixel units; the absolute value of the first voltage signal is greater than the absolute value of a pre-set voltage, and the absolute value of the second voltage signal is less than the absolute value of the pre-set voltage; or, the absolute value of the first voltage signal is less than the absolute value of the pre-set voltage, and the absolute value of the second voltage signal is greater than the absolute value of the pre-set voltage; and the pre-set voltage is a voltage required by each pixel unit for normal display. On this basis, the adjacent pixel units are respectively driven by voltage signals of different magnitudes, so that the display of the adjacent pixel units is mixed, so as to improve the chrominance visual angle of the display panel.
