Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is in providing a display device and a driving method that display a moving picture without flicker occurring, and that reduce energy consumption. The display device (1) comprises a display panel (2) having a plurality of scan signal lines (G) and a plurality of data signal lines (S), a scan line driving circuit (4) for scanning the plurality of scan signal lines (G), and a signal line driving circuit (6) for supplying a data signal from the plurality of data signal lines (S) with respect to each pixel. In the display device (1), a number of scans for a scan signal line (Gb) for displaying a certain specific color, from among the plurality of scan signal lines (G), is set to less than numbers of scans of scan signal lines (Gr,Gg) for displaying other colors.
