Abstract:
The present invention provides a display device that has: a drive substrate (11) having a display region and a circuit forming region; a drive element (15) that is provided in the circuit forming region on the drive substrate (11); a function film (14), which covers the display region, and which faces a part of the circuit forming region; and a protection resin layer (17) in contact with the drive element.
In a peeling step of the display device, said peeling step being a step for peeling the drive substrate from a supporting substrate, breakage of a connecting section between the drive element and wiring is eliminated, and the peeling can be performed while maintaining an excellent state.
