Abstract:
Provided are: a display device wherein the occurrence of a failure of connection between a mounting substrate and an electronic component is eliminated; and an electronic apparatus. This display device is provided with: a wiring layer (111) that is provided on a supporting substrate (100); insulating layers (121, 122) that are provided, as a plurality of layers, on the wiring layer (111); an opening (140) that is provided in a part of each of the insulating layers (121, 122); and a metal layer (130), which is electrically connected to the wiring layer (111), and with which the opening (140) is filled up to a level below the layer surface of the insulating layer.
