Abstract:
This display device has: a first substrate provided with a display region comprising display elements arranged in a matrix shape; a second substrate composed of a transparent material; and a seal part disposed so as to surround the outside of the display region, wherein the seal part is configured from a core material composed of a light-blocking material and a covering material composed of a seal material, and the first substrate and the second substrate are sealed while a surface of the covering material of the seal part seal part serves as a contact surface.
