Abstract:
A display device (10) is provided with a display panel (1) and a touch panel (2). The touch panel (2) comprises a first region (R1), which lies over a display region (AA), and a second region (R2) outside the first region. The first region (R1) and the second region (R2) differ from each other in at least one of the following features: the material of first electrodes (4, 6) and second electrodes (5, 7); the pitch between the first electrodes (4, 6) or between the second electrodes (5, 7); the shape of the first electrodes (4, 6) or the second electrodes (5, 7); the control units to which the first electrodes (4, 6) and the second electrodes (5, 7) are connected; and the positions at which the lead wires connected to the first electrodes (4, 6) or the second electrodes (5, 7) are disposed.
