Abstract:
This display device for an elevator comprises a display body and a light source device that is capable of generating a first light and a second light. The display body has a translucent plate that has a set display area, and a first coating film and a second coating film that overlap the translucent plate. When viewed along the thickness direction of the display body, a first display shape section that is represented by the presence or absence of the first coating film and a second display shape section that is represented by the presence or absence of the second coating film are formed in the display area. The color of the first coating film transmits light having a wavelength other than the wavelength of the first light, and absorbs the first light. The color of the second coating film transmits light having a wavelength other than the wavelength of the second light, and absorbs the second light.
