Abstract:
A display device and a fingerprint identification method thereof, relating to the technical field of fingerprint identification. The present invention can resolve the problems in existing fingerprint identification processes of a complicated reflective optical path, large noises in sensing signals, and low fingerprint identification precision. The display device comprises multiple pixel units (6) used for displaying, and multiple light sensing units (1) used for generating sensing signals according to the intensity of light received. The fingerprint identification method comprises: making some of the pixel units (6) emit light and making other pixel units (6) not emit light, and performing fingerprint identification according to the sensing signals generated by the multiple light sensing units (1).
