Abstract:
The present invention provides a display device including a light guide plate 2 that can display at least one pattern (21-1 to 21-9) and that includes a first incident surface (2a-1) and a second incident surface (2a-2), a first light source 3 disposed to face the first incident surface, and a second light source 4 disposed to face the second incident surface. The light guide plate 2 includes a plurality of prisms (11, 12) that are arranged on one surface 2b of the light guide plate along a pattern and reflect light emitted from each of the first light source 3 and the second light source 4 and entering the light guide plate 2 through the incident surfaces such that the light is caused to exit through another, exit surface 2c of the light guide plate 2. Depending on the display position of the pattern in a depth direction and an optical path length from each light source to the pattern, for each light source, an arrangement density is set for any of the plurality of prisms that reflects light from the light source.
