Abstract:
This display device is provided with: a display for displaying an image; a cover member that allows transmission of light incident on a first surface for receiving light from a light source; and a reflection layer that is disposed on a second surface side opposite to the first surface of the cover member. The reflection layer is positioned so as to overlap a display region of the display. The reflection layer allows transmission of incident light coming in at an incidence angle that is less than a boundary angle. The reflection layer reflects incident light that is incident thereon at an incidence angle greater than the boundary angle, so that the incident light is reflected at a reflection angle greater than the incidence angle.
