Abstract:
Disclosed are a display device, and a light source device therefor, wherein the display device includes an optical dome and can maintain a light profile of a light source by defining the specific shape of the optical dome. The display device comprises: a printed circuit board; LED chips which are mounted on the printed circuit board and output light; an optical dome dispensed on the LED chips so as to surround the LED chips; a liquid crystal panel for blocking or transmitting light output by the LED chips; and an optical film disposed between the LED chips and the liquid crystal panel, wherein the ratio of the height of the optical dome to the diameter of the underside of the optical dome may be 0.25 to 0.31.
