Abstract:
This display device is provided with a display panel and a lighting part that illuminates the display panel. The lighting part comprises: a light guide plate having a first surface and a second surface, which are opposite to each other; a light source that is arranged to face an end face of the light guide plate; an adhesive layer that is formed adjacent to the first surface of the light guide plate and has a refractive index that is generally equal to the refractive index of the light guide plate; and a light reflecting layer that is bonded to the first surface of the light guide plate with at least the adhesive layer being interposed therebetween.
