Abstract:
This display device includes a discharge amount calculating unit and a display unit. The discharge amount calculating unit calculates a first discharge amount of carbon dioxide attributable to travel along a first route by a vehicle, on the basis of the first route from a departure point to a destination using said vehicle, and on the basis of electric power information relating to electric power accumulated in a vehicle-mounted battery which accumulates electric power to be used for travel by the vehicle. Further, the discharge amount calculating unit also calculates a second discharge amount of carbon dioxide attributable to travel by public transport along a second route, on the basis of the second route from the departure point to the destination using public transport. The display unit displays information based on the first discharge amount and the second discharge amount.
