Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device and a method for manufacturing same and, more particularly, to a large-sized display device using a light-emitting diode (LED) having a micro-unit size and a method for manufacturing same. A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a substrate; and a plurality of light-emitting units arranged in an array on the substrate, wherein each of the plurality of light-emitting units comprises: a light-emitting cell disposed on the substrate and emitting light of different wavelengths; and a driving unit disposed on the substrate and electrically driving the light-emitting cell, wherein the light-emitting cell comprises: a first conductive semiconductor layer disposed as a common layer on the substrate; a plurality of active layers spaced apart from each other on one plane on the first conductive semiconductor layer and emitting light of a specific wavelength; a second conductive semiconductor layer disposed on each of the plurality of active layers; and a wavelength conversion layer disposed on the second conductive semiconductor layer.
