Abstract:
This display device has: an IC chip, which is provided with a first surface, a second surface on the reverse side of the first surface, and side surfaces between the first surface and the second surface, and which has a terminal on the first surface; a resin layer covering the second surface and the side surfaces; a wiring layer, which is provided on the IC chip and the resin layer, and which includes wiring connected to the terminal; a transistor layer, which is provided on the wiring layer, and which includes a transistor connected to the wiring; and an electrooptical layer, which is provided on the transistor layer, and which includes a pixel electrode connected to the transistor.
