Abstract:
In order to achieve compensation for chromaticity changes caused by a difference in the observation direction of a display surface and compensation for other optical characteristics on the display surface, there is provided a display device (2) equipped with: a light-emitting element layer (6) that includes a light-emitting layer (14) provided with a light-emitting element, a first electrode (10) in a layer below the light-emitting layer (14), and a second electrode (18) in a layer above the light-emitting layer (14); and an optical compensation layer (8) in a layer above the light-emitting element layer (6), the optical compensation layer (8) compensating for the prevention of reflection of external light on the display surface and also compensating for chromaticity changes on the display surface caused by a difference in the observation direction of the display surface.
