Provided is a display device with good display quality. A display device which has a first pixel, a second pixel, a first insulating layer and a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer, wherein: the first pixel has a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer which covers the first pixel electrode, a third insulating layer on the first EL layer, and a common electrode on the first EL layer and the third insulating layer; the second pixel has a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer which covers the second pixel electrode, a fourth insulating layer on the second EL layer, and a common electrode on the second EL layer and the fourth insulating layer; the first and third insulating layers have a first projecting part on the first pixel electrode; the first projecting part is positioned to the outside relative to the end section of the second insulating layer; the first and fourth insulating layers have a second projecting part on the second pixel electrode; the second projecting part is positioned to the outside relative to the end section of the second insulating layer; and the first and second projecting parts each have a tapered shape on the lateral surface when seen from a cross-sectional view of the display device.
