Abstract:
When there is a display request related to an auction, an extraction unit (101) extracts: the listing date/time at which the auction was listed; bidding dates/times and bidding prices for bids made on the auction; and the closing date/time of the auction. A display unit (102) displays, on a screen, the remaining time from a target date/time to the closing date/time in a time display field and a display price in a price display field. An update unit (103): sets a discretionary time instant within a period from the listing date/time to the earliest bidding date/time among said bidding dates/times as the target date/time; (a) until the target date/time reaches the present date/time, updates the target date/time at a faster speed than the actual lapse of time, and, when the target date/time reaches one of the bidding dates/times, sets the bidding price at that bidding date/time as the display price; and (b) after the target date/time reaches the present date/time, updates the target date/time at the same speed as the actual lapse of time.
