Abstract:
Provided is a display device having a light detection function. The display device has a first substrate, a second substrate, a light-receiving element, a light-emitting element, a resin layer, and a light shielding layer. The light-receiving element, the light-emitting element, the resin layer, and the light shielding layer are each located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The light-receiving element has a first pixel electrode on the first substrate, an active layer on the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode on the active layer. The light-emitting element has a second pixel electrode on the first substrate, a first light-emitting layer on the second pixel electrode, and the common electrode on the first light-emitting layer. The resin layer and the light shielding layer are each located between the common electrode and the second substrate. The resin layer is partially overlapped with the light-emitting element. The light shielding layer is partially located between the common electrode and the resion layer. The resin layer has an opening overlapped with the light-receiving element or is provided in an island shape. The light passing through the second substrate is at least partially incident on the light-receiving element without passing through the resin layer.
