Abstract:
The present invention provides a display device which has high display quality. This display device comprises: a first light emitting device which comprises a first pixel electrode, a first layer and a common electrode; a second light emitting device which comprises a second pixel electrode, a second layer and the common electrode; a first colored layer; a second colored layer which transmits light having a color that is different from the color of light transmitted by the first colored layer; a first insulating layer; and a second insulating layer. With respect to this display device, the first layer and the second layer respectively comprise a first light emitting material that emits blue light and a second light emitting material that emits light having a longer wavelength than blue light, while being separated from each other; the first insulating layer covers a part of the upper surface and the lateral surface of the first layer, and a part of the upper surface and the lateral surface of the second layer; the second insulating layer overlaps with the part of the upper surface and the lateral surface of the first layer and the part of the upper surface and the lateral surface of the second layer, with the first insulating layer being interposed therebetween; the common electrode covers the second insulating layer; and an end of the second insulating layer has a tapered shape with a taper angle of less than 90° when viewed in cross section.
