Abstract:
Provided is a display device with excellent display quality. The display device is provided with a switching transistor, a drive transistor, a light emitting element, a capacitive element, and a current supply line. Either the source or the drain of the drive transistor is electrically connected to the light emitting element, and the other of the source and the drain is electrically connected to the current supply line. In the drive transistor, a semiconductor film has a region which overlaps a first gate electrode, and the semiconductor film overlaps a source electrode in a portion of said region and overlaps a drain electrode in a different portion of said region. In the switching transistor, a semiconductor film has a region which overlaps a first gate electrode, and the semiconductor film does not overlap a source electrode in said region and does not overlap a drain electrode in said region.
