Abstract:
A display device comprises a substrate and a transistor disposed on the substrate, wherein the transistor comprises: a semiconductor layer; a gate electrode overlapping the semiconductor layer; a first gate contact overlap layer overlapping a channel region in which the semiconductor layer overlaps the gate electrode, the first gate contact overlap layer being in contact with the gate electrode; and a semiconductor contact overlap layer overlapping the channel region and being in contact with the semiconductor layer, and the first gate contact overlap layer and the semiconductor contact overlap layer are physically separated by a gap in the channel region.
