Abstract:
Provided is a display device production method in which the following are stacked on a first substrate: first electrodes provided to pixels; an insulating layer having openings which respectively face the first electrodes; an organic layer including a light-emitting layer that is common to all the pixels; and a second electrode formed on the entire surface of the organic layer. The display device production method comprises a step in which a metal material layer is formed on the entire surface of the second electrode, an energy beam is radiated from the metal material layer side, the metal material layer is selectively removed by energy that is absorbed at portions that correspond to the pixels, and an auxiliary wiring is thereby formed from the metal material layer.
