Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a display device surface member containing a polyimide film having an improved close adhesion with a cured resin layer; and a manufacturing method for the display device surface member. This display device surface member containing a polyimide film is characterized in that the polyimide film has a total light transmittance of at least 80% and a yellow index (YI) value of at most 4.0, at least 1 g of the polyimide film dissolves relative to 100 g of dichloromethane at 25ºC, and the polyimide film contains a compound having a structure represented by general formula (1). (In the formula, X represents a heteroatom or a carbon atom, Q represents a group of atoms needed for forming an aromatic heterocycle together with a nitrogen atom and X, and R1-R4 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent.)
